Stock
A warehouse that prepares 34 orders an hour by hand, not 12
Our own warehouse management system, built for RFID stock and an optimised pick sequence, so the same operator prepares nearly three times more orders, with no packing line and no automation.
Get early accessWith no packing line, no taping machine, and no automation, our operators went from 12 orders an hour to 34. The difference was the warehouse layout and the pick sequence, nothing else.
The problem
We were fed up being charged for a warehouse system's own incapacity, and for the mistakes it let through: wrong weights, wrong picks, wrong stock reception, wrong restock increments. So we built our own, because we run our own warehouses and needed it first.
How it works
Ultim Stock is built for RFID stock, so counts stay right from reception to restock to picking. Its algorithm sequences the day's orders so an operator walks the shortest, most efficient path, which is how our own operators went from 12 orders an hour to 34, with no packing line, no taping machine, and no automation. The whole point is to cut preparation and picking cost through organisation, and to track every order through preparation.
Features
Optimised pick sequence
The algorithm sequences the day's orders for the shortest, most efficient pick path, so throughput climbs without new machines.
RFID stock
Built for fully RFID-tagged stock, for counts you can trust at reception, restock, and picking.
Lower cost per order
Cut preparation cost and picking cost by fixing the layout and the sequence, not by spending on automation.
Order-prep tracking
Track every order through preparation, so nothing is lost and nothing is guessed.
Built into the suite
Ultim Stock feeds real stock levels to Ultim Inventory and hands prepared orders to Ultim Ship. Run one, or run them all on the same data.
